Sin El Fil
Perfumatics
Retail
Interior perfume display joinery for the Perfumatics shop in Sin El Fil — retail units that integrate sharp, high-end stainless steel with wood to present product cleanly on the shop floor.
Scope
The Brief
A perfume retailer that wanted more than plain timber display units — a sharper, more premium look for the shop floor, mixing metal and wood.
Our Approach
We built the interior perfume displays by integrating stainless steel with wood — precise, high-end steel finish work married to the timber decor rather than plain joinery. It shows our range beyond wood alone: crisp metalwork and cabinetry detailed and finished as one, built to take daily retail handling.
In Detail
Stainless steel,
integrated.
Not just wood
This project answers a question we get asked often: can you do more than timber? The Perfumatics displays integrate stainless steel with wood — not steel bolted onto a wooden box, but the two materials detailed to meet each other cleanly, with sharp, high-end steel finishes sitting flush within the timber composition. Combining them properly is harder than working either alone: the materials move at different rates, they need different fixing methods, and every junction between them is visible at close range in a retail environment.
Built for retail use
Retail joinery is seen close up and handled far more than anything in a home, so the specification has to favour materials and finishes that recover from use rather than ones that only look right on opening day. It is exactly where steel earns its place alongside timber. See retail and commercial fit-out.
