Wardrobes &
walk-in closets.
Fitted wardrobes, sliding-door closets and full walk-in dressing rooms — built to your ceiling height, your wall, and the way you actually store things.
Fitted Storage · Lebanon
A free-standing wardrobe wastes the 40cm above it and the gap behind it. A fitted one uses the whole wall, to the exact height of your ceiling. In Lebanese apartments, where ceilings run high and rooms are rarely square, that difference is usually a third more storage.
Types
What we build.
Hinged Fitted Wardrobes
The workhorse. Doors in veneer, lacquer or laminate, built wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling so there is no dust shelf on top and no dead space at the side.
Sliding-Door Wardrobes
For bedrooms where a swinging door would hit the bed. Panels in wood, mirror or glass running on high-end Italian sliding systems such as Terno Scorrevoli, so they stay quiet and true for years.
Walk-in Closets & Dressing Rooms
Open shelving, hanging rails, drawer banks and shoe racks laid out around the room — with a central island where the floor allows it.
Inside The Carcass
Where a closet is actually won.
Hanging Heights That Fit You
Long hang, short hang and double hang set to what you own — not a catalogue default. We ask what is going in before we draw.
Drawers, Not Just Shelves
Soft-close drawer banks on Blum runners for folded items and accessories. Shelves alone turn into piles within a month.
Lighting Inside
LED strips in the hanging rail or under shelves, switched by door sensor so the closet lights itself when you open it.
Islands & Seating
In a walk-in with the floor area to spare, a central island gives you drawer storage, a folding surface and a place to sit and dress.
Built for the room
you actually have.
Non-standard walls, non-standard ceilings
Very few bedrooms in Lebanon are a clean rectangle. There is a beam crossing the ceiling, a column in the corner, a window reveal that eats 15cm, or a slab that drops 8cm on one side of the room. Flat-pack wardrobes handle none of that — they get pushed against the wall and the difference becomes a gap you look at every day.
We measure the room after the plaster is on, then build the carcasses to those numbers. Scribe fillers close the wall on both sides, and the top rail is cut to follow the ceiling, including the drop. The result reads as part of the building rather than furniture parked against it.
Finishes
- Veneer — oak, walnut, ash or teak, book-matched across the door run so the grain reads continuously
- Lacquer — matt or satin, sprayed in the workshop rather than brushed on site
- Laminate and HPL — the practical choice for children's rooms and rental units
- Mirror and glass — full-height mirror doors that double as the room's dressing mirror
Finish and colour are signed off on a physical sample before anything is cut. See our materials and quality standards for what sits behind each option.
Wardrobes are often part of a bigger package — see custom kitchens and full-house joinery, or the Hosn 1040 residences and Mr H Residence in Jnah, where the walk-in closet was built around a central island.
Common Questions
Wardrobes & closets — FAQ.
How much does a fitted wardrobe cost in Lebanon?
It depends on width, height, finish and what goes inside. A laminate wardrobe in a standard bedroom sits at the practical end; a full-height walnut-veneer run with internal lighting and drawer banks sits well above it. We price from the actual wall dimensions rather than per metre guesswork, and we tell you honestly if a cheaper build will serve you just as well.
What is the difference between a fitted wardrobe and a walk-in closet?
A fitted wardrobe is built into the bedroom wall with doors on the front. A walk-in closet is a separate room, or a partitioned part of one, where the storage is open on the walls and you step inside it.
Can you build a wardrobe around a beam or a sloped ceiling?
Yes — that is a large part of why fitted joinery exists. We measure after the plaster is on and cut the carcass and top rail to follow the actual ceiling line, beam drops and column returns included. There is no gap left to fill with trim.
Do you make walk-in closets with an island in the middle?
Yes. An island gives you drawer storage, a folding surface and somewhere to sit. We built one recently for a private residence in Jnah.
What hardware do you use for sliding doors?
High-end Italian sliding systems such as Terno Scorrevoli. Sliding gear takes more abuse than any other moving part in a bedroom, so it is not a place to save money — cheap gear announces itself within a year. Hinges and drawer runners elsewhere in the wardrobe are Blum.
Can you match a wardrobe to a bed or the rest of the bedroom?
Yes. We regularly build the wardrobe, bed surround, headboard panelling and bedside units as one package in a single finish, so the grain and tone match across the room rather than nearly matching.
