Completed
The Brief
A contracted fit-out at the Beirut Fruits & Vegetables Market, executed under the main contractor Ramco. It called for certified fire-rated door sets and commercial kitchen joinery built to take heavy daily use — all delivered to the contractor programme.
Our Approach
We worked in coordination with the general contractor, Ramco — issuing shop drawings for approval, then supplying and installing the certified fire-rated door sets and commercial kitchen units. The package was fabricated and fitted on programme and delivered on time.

A contracted package, coordinated with the GC
This was not a direct residential commission but a contracted joinery package executed in coordination with the main contractor, Ramco. That changes how the work runs. Scope comes from the bill of quantities rather than a conversation; shop drawings are issued for approval before anything is cut; and the programme belongs to the contractor, not to us — our dates have to fit the sequence of every other trade on site. The package was drawn, approved and executed on time. That reliability is the entire basis on which contractors re-appoint a joiner.
Certified fire-rated door sets
Commercial and institutional buildings need fire-rated doors with documentation the authority and the main contractor will accept. A leaf on its own is not a fire door: the rating belongs to the complete set — leaf, frame, intumescent seals and ironmongery, certified together. Substituting any one component invalidates the rating, which is why the set has to be handled as one item. We do not issue certification ourselves — we work with plants that supply certified fire-rated products, finish them to our standard and install them to spec, so the certification behind the set stays intact. Commercial kitchen joinery
Kitchen joinery in a working food facility takes abuse no domestic kitchen sees — constant moisture, daily washdown, and cleaning products that would strip a household finish within a month. The specification follows from that: moisture-resistant substrates, every edge sealed including the ones nobody looks at, and surfaces chosen for washability rather than appearance.
