Full Woodwork — Doors, Closets & Kitchens

Scope

The Brief

A student dormitory in Hamra, steps from AUB, that needed every room fitted out with joinery built to take daily use by a changing population of students — doors, closets and kitchens throughout.

Our Approach

We fabricated and installed all the woodwork in the building — the doors, the closets and the kitchens — from our own workshop, so every room was finished to the same specification.

In Detail

Built for
daily student life.

Joinery that has to take hard use

A dormitory is one of the hardest places joinery can live: doors opened and closed hundreds of times a day, closets packed and emptied every term, kitchens shared between residents. The work has to be built for durability first — solid construction, hardware rated for heavy use, and finishes that can be cleaned and kept looking right year after year.

One package across the building

Because the doors, closets and kitchens all came from the same workshop, every room in the building is finished to one standard, and the whole package was delivered to a single programme. See wooden doors, wardrobes and closets and custom kitchens.
