Ashrafieh, Beirut
Ashrafieh
2240
Full joinery across all twenty-four apartments of the Ashrafieh 2240 development — a high-end residential building finished with doors, kitchens and joinery held to one standard throughout.
Scope
The Brief
A high-end, twenty-four-apartment residential development that needed one joinery hand across every unit — doors, kitchens and finishing held to a consistent, premium standard through the whole building.
Our Approach
We fabricated and fitted the doors, kitchens and finish joinery for all twenty-four apartments, holding a single high-end standard from the first unit to the last.
In Detail
Twenty-four apartments,
one specification.
Volume without drift
The difficulty in a residential development is not building one good kitchen — it is building the twenty-fourth one to the same standard as the first. Small inconsistencies compound: a veneer leaf from a different batch, a slightly different reveal, a handle from a second supplier when the first runs short. Buyers compare apartments, and so do the sales team. We worked to one specification across all twenty-four units, with material drawn and sequenced so the last apartment handed over matches the show unit.
Kitchens, doors and joinery as one package
Because the kitchens, the doors and the fitted joinery all came from the same workshop, the finishes actually match rather than nearly matching — the same veneer species and tone runs from the kitchen fronts to the door leaves to the wardrobe faces. Splitting these packages between suppliers is the most common reason a high-end apartment ends up feeling slightly assembled rather than designed.
High-end residential, at development scale
This is the standard of work most people associate with a one-off private commission, delivered across a whole building on a developer's programme. It calls for the pricing discipline of a commercial package and the finish standard of a private house at the same time. See custom kitchens and residential joinery.
